The Free Range exhibition is at the Old Truman Brewery in London ,91 BRICK LANE, which is a show that exhibits fashion, illustration, graphic design, photography, fine art, interior design and architecture. It was established by Tamsin O'hanlon in 2001 to showcase the work of emerging artists from Universities over the country. We went on Saturday 24th, the show was open from 10AM to 7PM and it was free entry.

"The Old Truman Brewery, East London's revolutionary arts and media quarter, is home to a hive of creative businesses as well as exclusively independent shops, galleries, markets, bars and restaurants. For over twenty years the Old Truman Brewery has been regenerating its ten acres of vacant and derelict buildings into spectacular office, retail, leisure and event spaces. The finely tuned mix of business and leisure has created an environment unique in London, making the Old Truman Brewery a destination in its own right."

What I liked most about the show was the variety of artwork that was on offer. It was contrasted between interactive artwork and photographs on the wall. I thought it was good how majority of the work had a information next to it which explained what the work was about and about the artist.

When at the show I found the work of the De Montfort University students. I thought that their work was affective at capturing the audiences attention and displayed interesting styles of work. There was several artists that I found interesting and that I would explore similar themes.

I collected books and images from the show to take back for research and influence into next projects that I will do for my own work.
