ABOUT  Molly

Media and Photography have always engrossed me. With my Bratz Dolls I did what every other girl did; dressed them up, cut their hair (to my mother’s dismay) and prayed it grew back again. This led to me deciding to make a magazine, write articles about their lives and create a video using the images and flashcards of their conversations. Although not advanced, I was delighted with my creation and kept developing further over the years. Now at University I am creating artwork, which thankfully is substantially better than my Bratz productions.

“You don't take a photograph, you make it.”- Ansel Adams introduced to me by my father, hooked me into the wonders a camera can behold, creating intriguing images out of any situation. I started by taking landscapes, and went on to investigate documentary photography when I started AS. I enjoyed capturing people balanced with the landscape. However, fashion and portrait photography is something that I really enjoy. In particular contextual portraits that focus on an important subject that is involved in society. I relish editing both my camera and video work. Mostly, being able to combine both my Photography skills and Media skills in my degree is a pleasure as I thoroughly enjoy both subjects.
